B.L.G offers strategies and supports to prevent toxic work environments

Be.Lead.Grow (or B.L.G) offers a range of services such as strategic planning and product (re)design, training and development, creative empowerment and overall organizational development services for businesses and organizations. It equips corporations with the tools and resources needed to create safe spaces for their team members and leaders to thrive which has an impact on profit, performance and power.

Our business challenges were to bring B.L.G’s future clients directly to the website to access and book the services they need

My Contribution: User interview, market research, competitive analysis, comparative analysis, user scenario, problem statement, preparing final client presentation

Team’s preliminary high level Goal:

Understanding the problem

  • Presently, two sites (ideas) exist as separate entities, our goal was to merge them into one organized community, membership-based platform.

  • Create a community-based platform that members will pay to have access to on a host site that is easy for our client to manage and maintain content and communicate with users.

Preliminary problem accessed from auditing the site

  • Assess the potential challenges of website navigability and provide an excess of repetitive information.

  • The host platforms are difficult to update and sometimes run slowly due to the high level of content.

Inconsistencies in design. There are different font usage everywhere in the website.

Users are often taken off the site.

Navigation bar disappears on some pages.

Use of images containing text makes the text unreadable

What made this experience impactful to you?

We sent a survey asking professionals about their experience with career and personal development. The purpose is to develop a hierarchy of information in regards to B.L.G site navigation.

We wanted to know more about what was B.L.G’s past clients’ experience and what compelled them to choose Be.Lead.Grow's services.

We found out that B.L.G’S clients were either existing ones or referred by another organizations who were B.L.G’s past clients.

We further interviewed more clients to understand their evaluation process while recruiting a wellness coach

We found out:

  1. Client contacts the references and do further research on the provider.

  2. They also look at testimonials and success stories on provider's website.

What makes Be.Lead.Grow unique?

  • The wellness coach is very down to earth and not afraid to get on everybody's level

  • Services include mind and body wellness.

I did comparative analysis to understand the aesthetics behind the other popular subscription-based websites.

Main points to be considered while redesigning B.L.G’s new website

Moderated Usability Test to understand User’s pain points

Our task analysis was conducted utilizing Maze, a platform that allows to customize a prototype and gather precise data based on the set criteria. Some insights include click accuracy and the specific paths users follow to access information.

The Task was:

Users must find and select the "90 Days to Freedom" program Within the Be.Lead.Grow. website.

Usability Test revealed User’s frustrations finding the services they are looking for

  • Make the business mission clear as soon as users get to the site

  • Show consistency throughout each page so users can easily identify where they are located within the experience

  • A large part of this project included content management strategy.

  • Research conducted allowed us to gain insight into what users look for and need to feel confident in using Dr. AMS's services.

  • We combed through documents and created language that mimics Be. Lead. Grow.'s brand and create a professional, vibrant, and trustworthy platform.

  • Surveys, user interviews, usability mapping, heat mapping, comparative & competitive analysis were all used to reflect the needs and wants of users looking to higher professionals like Dr. Ams.
